Beats A Rocking Chair!

Phil and Dee Morris, Publishers of Gasser Wars Magazine, have been involved in motorsports printing since 1972. They have also been involved in the sports of drag racing and boat drag racing since the 60's. Both Dee and Phil are graduates of Frank Hawley's Drag Racing School in Pomona. Dee (at the ripe old age of 50) earned her super comp license in 1997 and crossed her license over to Funny car in 2002. She will be driving their Blown Alcohol Altered at various West Coast Nostalgia Races, and in Goodguys Nostalgia Eliminator 1.

The car has a Dave Uyehara chassis (updated by Brent Williamson, and in 2003, by Jim Hume of H&H Racecraft) built for the Mallicoat Bros. The motor, built by Jim Krohn, is a 10.5 to 1, blown 399 Chrysler Hemi, with Donovan Gear Drive, Donovan Valves, Arias Pistons, Engle Cam and Springs, Titan Rockers and Pump, Childs & Albert Main and Rod Bearings, Crower Roller Lifters, Hot Heads Valve Covers, Ed's Header Flanges, Tim Lavine Headers (Coated by Finish Line Coating), Bill Phillips Blower and Pullys, Hilborn Shotgun Injector, Kelly's Turbo 400 w/Ultra Bell & Reverse Valve Body, Strange Rear End Full Floater, Wilwood Brakes, Goodyears, Convo Pros, Diest Parachute.
